  • Typical Power usage is 350 – 500 Watts @ 3-5 amps on a regular 110-volt plug. Electrical outlets should be GFCI or grounded outlets as required by state laws. Plugs into a standard home outlet.
  • Easy and Low Maintenance – quick filter change every 1-2 months depending on usage.
  • 34 inches of clearance through doors and passageways are required to get your tub to its location.
  • Due to the handcrafted nature of our tubs, dimensions may have variances up to ¼”.

Is this cold plunge safe?
Yes, safety came first when designing this tub.

Will the tub stay clean if I use it daily?
Yes! Your tub comes with an ozone filtration system and a 10″ filter to keep your tub clean. This tub was built to be low maintenance and have minimal water changes with proper upkeep.

How cold does the water get?
Water temperature can go as low as 39º F. You can set the temperature to your preference at any temperature below 80º F. Please note the tub does not heat but keeps below the set point.

I am a bigger person, will I fit?
We recommend this tub for people 6’5″ and 250 lbs or less. XL tub can be made – please email us.

If you are looking to see how deep you can submerge yourself, try sitting on the ground and marking 28 inches on the wall. This will give you an idea of how high you can safely get the water up (the compartment is 30 inches tall). Most people find that this is more than enough to submerge their head if they wish.

What ozone filtration?
Ozone or O3 technology is a common and safe water treatment system using pure oxygen. It is a powerful disinfecting agent and removes the need to use heavy chemicals. In short, ozone is terrific for cleaning water, which is why it is used with advanced drinking water treatment plants in the world.

Can I keep my plunge indoor or outdoor?
Yes, our tubs are designed to be indoor or outdoor. If you live in a colder climate, it is important to leave the water circulating  24/7  if temps are below 32 for multiple days in a row to prevent freezing pipes. If it gets too cold for extended periods you may need to drain and empty the tub.

 

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. This means we have your order in our system and have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and can be shipped immediately. If we find that your item is on back order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and will reach out to you via e-mail. If the item(s) can be shipped within 5 business days, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we have processed the charges on your credit card, the items will ship within five business days from the date of your order. Tracking information will be sent from us within 24 hours of your order leaving the distribution center to the e-mail address provided to us during check out. If your tracking information had not been received within five days of your order, please follow us with us at orders@lionindustrialsupply.com.

We offer free shipping on all orders and on applicable items and brands as well.

Typically, when an order has been received, it will be processed immediately. After this, it will take about 1-3 business days after confirmation of the order, payment, and pickup time to fulfill your order.

Some suppliers do custom make products, and this can add an additional lead time. If delivery time is a concern of yours, please feel free to contact our customer service team for confirmation. Please note that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, lead times can unfortunately be longer.

Product Quality Guarantee:

It is very important to inspect goods before signing the delivery receipt from the courier. This is important because if the goods are damaged and you must note this with the courier so a freight claim can be filed and we can arrange for either a repair or return of the damaged goods. All damage claims should be reported immediately.

If you do suspect the goods are damaged due to the outer carton appearing damaged, please note “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This will protect your insurance claim if the product is damaged and a freight insurance claim needs to be filed.

While I love the in-studio classes, you really can’t put a price on the convenience of having the tub available whenever you need it.

Good quality

I bought my cold tub from Kooru a few months ago. I am really impressed with the quality of this tub. It is not only functional but beautiful. It is really a piece of art! I had been looking for a cold tub for a very long term but I couldn’t find one with good quality for a reasonable price. All the cold tubs I could find were overpriced and cheaply made so when I saw this one, I purchased it immediately. I keep it at 47 degrees just by running it a few hours (I added a timer) at night and my electric bill has hardly gone up. I use it every morning for 3 minutes as part of my daily ritual. Since I started doing it, I not only feel more energized during the day, but the pain on my joints is starting to disappear.

As a former professional athlete, I’ve been in a lot of ice baths… and this is the best one I’ve ever experienced! I’m 6’9 tall and I can fully submerge my whole body (and head) under the water comfortably. I’m amazed at the reliability and how easy it is to maintain… it looks great in my house and runs amazing. It is built to last and I’m so glad I got this instead of building my own. I’ll have this thing forever!

This cold tub has been life-changing. After using this thing every day for about a year, I’m finding myself way less beat up after long runs and I’ve gotten a lot better mental focus throughout my day. Love the aesthetic of the wood that they did for these. It looks great on my back deck. Couldn’t be happier with it.
