WHAT IS THE RAISE AND RELEASE LATCHING SYSTEM AND HOW DO I USE IT?
The Raise and Release latching system keeps drawers closed and secure. To open a drawer, lift up on the drawer front while pulling towards you. To close a drawer, shut the drawer firmly until the latch engages.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A DRAWER WITH RAISE AND RELEASE DOES NOT STAY CLOSED?
The hook may be bent or it may be rubbing against the drawer slides. To fix this problem, lightly bend the hook until the drawer will engage in the slide.
WHAT ARE BALL BEARING DRAWER SLIDES?
Ball bearing drawer slides contain small metal balls that assist in opening and closing the drawers. Because ball bearings roll rather than slide, the drawers are easier to open and close.
WHAT DOES THE BALL BEARING SLIDE WEIGHT MEAN?
Our ball bearing drawer slides come with several different weight capacities, the most common ones being 250 lb and 150 lb. This is the maximum weight that a drawer with one set of slides can hold. Drawers with dual slides sets will have double the capacity. For example, a drawer with two 150 lb slides on either side will hold up to 300 lb.
