The RazorLite™ Kayak's Straight Hull Design
An important and unique feature of the RazorLite™ Kayak is its straight hull design which provides the maximum straight hull waterline length. This feature combined with the very narrow kayak width (25" at the waterline) allows the RazorLite™ to paddle as fast as any rigid kayak. The Bow and stern molds are made of durable plastic and cut through the wind, waves, current, and water like a sharp edge straight razor on a clean close shave. With superior length to width ratio, razor sharp bow entry, straight line planing surface and a precision razor sharp stern exit at the rear these inflatable kayaks are in a performance league of their own.
The RazorLite™ Kayak's Unique Bow and Stern Design with Tapered Side Walls
The RazorLite™ Kayak's rigid bow and stern molds create the worlds very first speed entry system that leads into a double concave and then opens into a flat planing surface. The double concave design at bow allows pockets of air to enter in between the hull and the water creating lift while reducing friction and drag. The double concave at stern creates a super clean exit. The Tapered Drop Stitch Side Walls provide a rigid chine at the waterline and secondary buoyancy and stability. Bow and Stern Molds
The RazorLite™ Kayak's rigid bow and stern molds create a razor sharp speed entry and exit system. The bow mold cuts through the water effortlessly at a high velocity. The water then meets the carefully designed Tapered Side Walls creating lift while reducing friction and drag, then exits just as fast as it entered at the stern mold leaving little to no wake behind.

Our Drop Stitch material uses thousands of high tensile strength threads connecting the top and bottom fabric layers, creating thousands of I-beam supports. Yes, you can. Our 120-Day On-Water Trial lets you try the boat, kayak, or SUP on the water. If you're anything less than completely satisfied, return it for a complete refund less shipping within 120 days of delivery.
How do I store my Sea Eagle?
The best way to store your inflatable is folded, in it's bag, in a clean, dry space and out of reach of mice and other critters. If you must store your inflatable outdoors or in a shed, you can store it in a large plastic bin (or clean garbage can) with a tight lid to keep mice, squirrels and other rodents out. ALWAYS make sure your Sea Eagle is clean and completely dry to prevent mold from growing.
How durable is the RazorLite?
The RazorLite™ kayaks are very durable. They are constructed of the same 1000 denier reinforced PVC as our FastTracks™, Explorers™, PaddleSki™, FoldCats, Frameless Pontoon Boats, Sport Runabouts and SUPs.
What happens if one of the separate air chambers loses pressure?
Most leaks are slow and can be noticed before much pressure has left the air chamber. Boats with multiple, separate air chambers will maintain buoyancy with one chamber down.
How do I fold my Sea Eagle?
The characteristics of being an inflatable gives you the option to roll, fold or store it according to your specific needs. You'll want to pay close attention to how the valves, skegs and skeg base areas are folded as to prevent damage.
Our Sea Eagle boats are covered for a full three years against manufacturer's defects* ... from bow to stern.
We can afford to offer this comprehensive warranty because of our 56 year experience in designing and selling inflatable boats. We know quality products, and we stand behind them.
Terms and Conditions:- Warranty Term will be three years from the date of customer receipt for all non-commercial users
- Commercial operators, including but not limited to rental operators, will be covered for six months from the date of receipt
- Warranty applies to defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover:
- Damage due to negligence, neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal or improper use, bad assembly or improper repair attempts, or damage resulting from the use of a pump not supplied by Sea Eagle
- Alteration or customization
- Abrasions, tears or punctures
- Normal color fading
- Normal wear
- Overglueing and other aesthetic imperfections
- Crazing, blistering and aging of fabrics, metals or wood
- Does not cover incidental costs such as haul-out, launching, towing, or any other consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
- Customer must provide reasonable documentation to establish a defect, including but not limited to:
- Digital photographs clearly showing the defect
- Troubleshooting to establish or narrow down the cause of the problem
- In the event that a defect cannot be demonstrated by photographs, customer may return products after obtaining an RMA number from Sea Eagle using the procedures for the Return Policy. Returns will be:
- Sent at the customer's expense
- Customer must insure return shipments or accept the cost of merchandise damaged in transit to Sea Eagle
- If Sea Eagle determines the product is defective, customer will be refunded the published common carrier freight charge for the shipment
- Sea Eagle will not reimburse packaging and handling charges incurred by full service operations such as Fedex Kinkos, UPS Stores, or any other packaging and shipping provider.
- For orders exported outside the United States, Sea Eagle Boats, Inc. will not be responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees associated with shipping replacement products.
- Sea Eagle is not responsible for shipping warranty products to any country other than the country which the original order was delivered to.
- Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing a defective part, or at our discretion, replacing such part or parts as shall be necessary to remedy any malfunction resulting from defects in material or workmanship as covered by this warranty. We reserve the right to improve the design of any product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
- Severability: If any provision of this Limited Warranty is unenforceable, for any reason, all other provisions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.

- Any engine larger than the maximum rated horsepower or weight for the boat is used on the boat.
- Boat is used in any activities that are in violation of U.S. Coast Guard Regulations, Federal, State, or any other governing law in the area where the boat is used.

As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. This means we have your order in our system and have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and can be shipped immediately. If we find that your item is on back order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and will reach out to you via e-mail. Very easy to set up and pack up. We have used it in rivers, lakes and bays and it performs great in all. Highly recommended!
Quality and functionality well worth the price. Have used it for 2 years now on lakes and rivers in WI. Also have 2 sit-in hard sided kayaks so it’s a great addition and adds flexibility to our “fleet”. Some very minor observations/recommendations. Due need to be more careful in shallow water with hard plastic skeg. May consider getting a spare one just in case of damage. Worried about long term durability of the plastic air pump (red version) especially with the quarter turn hose connection, but nice with the dual action. With our fill values in the stern found it best to start folding up from the front to the rear to help get the air out of the chambers. (This is a very condensed version of a positive review)
The 473rl , it took a little time to get used to getting the balance but after that everything was great easy to inflate with a 12 volt pump which I highly recommend 👌, paddling is very easy then seaeagle had a article about a small 12volt motor 👍 I am all in on that it works great I highly recommend it worth every dollar, on letting the air out is ez but getting it into the bag 🎒 not ez they need to make the bag a little bigger please send me a larger bag it will make me very happy 😀 on the whole I have had six seaeagle boats and I think this is the best one. You can thank kyack cliff for my purchase because I always watch his reviews he does a very good job on how the boats operate well that's about it, I am a truly seaeagle person 😊
I got the tandem kayak for my wife and I and we've had it for a year. The tandem kayak is a little large and awkward to carry in it's backpack on your way to water but it inflates easily and quickly, is incredibly sturdy when inflated, and we've had a blast. It handles much more like a hardshell kayak than an inflatable and stores away neatly.
Goes together pretty easily and works great on the water. Only complaint is I've never figured out how to get it back in the pack so neatly-it's always sticking out a couple of feet!
