What is WAVE 2’s cooling and heating principle?
WAVE 2 regulates the ambient temperature by means of refrigerant heat exchange, and switches between cooling and heating functions by controlling the direction that heat flows in through a four-way valve.
How many exhaust ducts does the WAVE 2 provide? How do I use them?
This product comes with two exhaust ducts. When the air conditioner is used in an enclosed space, you can get rid of waste air through the exhaust ducts. When the interior space is small or noise avoidance is required, WAVE 2 can be placed outdoors and deliver cooling or heating through the front air outlet.
What if the inside of WAVE 2 is full of water?
WAVE 2 supports auto-shutdown with full water. When the water level indication shows full, the device switches to Fan mode if it is in Cooling mode, and automatically shuts down if it is in Heating mode. The prompts will show up in the app or on the LCD display. Please connect the device to the drain pipe. Use the app or press and hold the fan speed button to enable the external drainage function, or drain the residual water in the water tank via manual drainage.
Do I need to clean the WAVE 2 filters manually?
Yes. The air inlet may get blocked with large dust particles and impurities in the air during outdoor use, affecting the effect of cooling/heating. Regularly remove the front and rear air inlet filters, clean them with a damp cloth using a mild detergent, dry them in the air, and then reassemble them.
Can I connect WAVE 2 to the solar panel/car charging port and AC at the same time?
They can be connected at the same time, and the power supply priority is AC > solar panel/car charging port > add-on battery.
Does WAVE 2 need to be networked during daily use?
Networking is not necessary. When using the app, you can control the device from a close range through Bluetooth or networking, or remotely control it by configuring the network for WAVE 2.
Does WAVE 2 have a dehumidification function?
The device does not have a separate dehumidification mode. But the dehumidification function can be realized to a certain extent when the drain-free function is turned off and the external drainage is started.
Why does WAVE 2 still need to drain in drain-free mode?
Drain-free means that in cooling mode, when the ambient humidity is lower than 70%, there is no need for manual drainage during use.No matter in which mode, there will still be a small amount of residual water left in water tank after WAVE 2 has finished working. Therefore, we recommend manual drainage following the instructions in the user manual each time after use and before moving the product.When the ambient humidity exceeds 70%, even if the drain-free function is on, the condensation inside WAVE 2 cannot completely evaporate, which may trigger the overflow shutdown protection. In this case, perform external circulation drainage or manual drainage according to the instructions in the user manual.
Does WAVE 2 need to drain?
Yes.After the work of WAVE 2 is finished, a small amount of residual water may be left in water tank after WAVE 2 has finished working. In order to prevent bacteria breeding in the damp or accidental overflow of water, we recommend manual drainage after each use and before moving the product. Please remove the plug at the bottom and tilt the product to drain the residual water.
How does WAVE 2 drain?
There are 3 ways to drain WAVE 2: 1. In cooling mode, it has a no-drain function, which means that condensation evaporates through flash distillation, without the need of draining it outside. When the ambient humidity is too high, condensation cannot evaporate completely, so the following two ways of drainage are required. 2. External circulation drainage: After opening the external circulation drainage function through app control or by long pressing the wind speed button, WAVE 2 can automatically detect the internal water volume when working and drain it through the pump. It has 1m head and can be connected to the water pipe for drainage. 3. Manual drainage: A small amount of residual water may be left in water tank after WAVE 2 has finished working. Please remove the plug at the bottom of the product to drain the residual water.
